Santi Moar had a spectacular rookie season with Bethlehem Steel FC, leading all Steel FC rookies with six goals while ranking second on the squad with six assists. Moar made 30 appearances in 2017, starting 20 matches, for a total 1,803 minutes on the field. He made his professional soccer debut in the club’s season-opener against ROC (4/1). The following week, Moar collected his first professional assist against CIN (4/9). Continued to add to his list of accomplishments against HAR (4/15), scoring the first goal of his career. Notched his second goal of the season at NY (6/16) while adding an assist in the next match up against NY (7/9) with an assist. Moar scored his first game-winning goal at OTT (8/5) and followed up with assists against TOR (8/13) and at PGH (8/26). Moar continued his scoring ways at LOU (9/15) while adding another assist vs. PGH (9/24). Moar’s most impressive match came at TOR (10/6), scoring the club’s quickest brace in club history to bring his total to six goals while adding a sixth assist.
2016: Spent one season with the Charlotte Eagles, scoring eight goals and adding four assists to lead the Eagles to the 2016 South Atlantic Division Title. Moar’s play earned him a place on the 2016 PDL All-Eastern Conference Team.
2014-2016: Prepped at Division-II powerhouse Pfeiffer University where he scored 24 goals and added 33 assists during his two seasons with the Falcons. During his junior season, Moar scored 10 times in 25 matches in route to a National Championship in 2015. Moar increased his output despite only 20 starts finding the back of the net 14 times along with 19 assists. During his time with Pfeiffer, Moar earned First Team All-Conference Carolinas, Second team All-Region and Second Team All-State accolades along with NCCSIA second team and All-Southeast Region honors in his final season.
